Aberdeen Highland Games
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all who took part in the recent Aberdeen Highland Games; understands that around 10,000 people visited to watch participants in the games, which included heavyweight competitions, Highland dancing and piping; notes that charity mascots entertained with their own fundraiser mini-event for the first time; applauds the Robert Gordon’s College pipe band, which competed for the first time, and looks forward to seeing returning faces for next year’s competition.
