CalMac Wins Top Award for Modern Apprenticeship Partnership
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Gourock-based ferry firm, CalMac, on winning in the Training and Employee Retention category at the CIS Excellence Awards; understands that the company picked up the hospitality award for its modern apprenticeship partnership with City of Glasgow College; believes that firms investing in and offering apprenticeships is helping to ensure more young people go on to positive destinations after finishing secondary school, and hopes that CalMac’s scheme continues to go from strength to strength.
