West Lothian College Students Support the Brock Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian College's Preparation for Health and Social Care students on running pop-up shops that sold plants, crafts and woodwork from the Brock Trust, raising over £2,000; recognises the invaluable experience that the students gained while volunteering with the trust, which is a social enterprise in Broxburn that provides therapeutic activities to people living with severe mental health conditions, and commends the lecturer, Marion Darling, on organising therapeutic workshops with the trust for students who have expressed challenges regarding mental health and anxiety.
