AC Whyte Success at The Herald Higher Education Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates AC Whyte, on winning the Outstanding Business Engagement Award at The Herald Higher Education Awards for its skills academy partnership with the Greenock Campus of West College Scotland; recognises that, under the partnership, students learn skills required to work for the firm before taking up paid positions in the business; believes that partnerships such as this provide more options to students that could prove life-changing, and hopes that the skills academy continues to support Greenock students into work.
