St Nicholas Primary Ski Team, British Indoor Champions
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates St Nicholas Primary School, which is in Bearsden, on its ski team on becoming the NSSA British Schools Indoor Junior Champions; notes that Kacper Prosowski and Calum Steel put in strong performances to earn two top 10 places in the boys' under-10 category, that Grace Cameron won third place and the bronze medal in the girls' under-12s and that Isla Cameron won silver medal in the girls' under-10s; understands that the team members, who already hold the title of Scottish Schools Indoor Junior Ski champions, travelled to Manchester to take part in the competition, at which they scored an impressive 21 points to win the trophy, four gold medals and the overall title; recognises the hard work and dedication that they needed to reach this impressive standard of performance, and wishes the children continued success in their endeavours.
