Top Accolades for Scottish Autism
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Scottish Autism on its success at the Quality Scotland Awards for Business Excellence, which were presented in Glasgow in June 2019 and were attended by more than 230 delegates from 85 organisations of all sizes and sectors; notes that the charity won the Good Practice Award for Adding Value for Customers, the Overall Business Excellence Award and a prestigious 5 Star Recognised for Excellence award in recognition of its commitment to organisational excellence and continuous improvement; believes that this particular award is acknowledged across Europe as one for organisations that demonstrate high levels of performance against the comprehensive European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence Model; acknowledges that this success follows a week-long visit during April 2019 by a Quality Scotland assessment team, which was formed of UK-wide professionals from a variety of business backgrounds, who met its employees and service users and scrutinised a number of the charity's core services, and applauds everyone at Scottish Autism for their tireless work.
