Morayvia Acquires Royal Navy Merlin Helicopter
The motion
That Parliament congratulates Morayvia, which is based in Kinloss, Moray, on its successful acquisition of a former Royal Navy Merlin HM1 helicopter ZH821; understands that, once on display at its aviation heritage centre, this will be the only such exhibit of this aircraft type at a civilian centre, with all other airframes under military ownership; notes that this aircraft was the first production Merlin HM1 to fly, which makes it unique, and sends its best wishes to all involved with the Morayvia project, which it considers grows from strength to strength and continually seeks to better the experiences available to visitors.
