First Monifieth Citizen of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Fiona Edwards has been named the first Monifieth Citizen of the Year; understands that Fiona, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2003, has sold 1.3 million portions of tablet, which is equivalent to one and a half times the height of Ben Nevis, raising £75,000 for Breast Cancer Research; further understands that Fiona is a keen runner and sells her tablet at events around Tayside and Fife, including the Dundee half marathon, and congratulates her on all her fundraising efforts and being named Monifieth Citizen of the Year.
