Peebles Orchestra Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Peebles Orchestra on receiving nearly £5,000 of funding from the Awards for All Scotland programme; understands that the orchestra will use the money to put on its first Come and Sing concert, in partnership with the Creative Peebles Arts Festival; notes that the concert will allow local people to sing Mozart’s Requiem accompanied by the orchestra and professional soloists, and wishes the orchestra all the best for the performance.
