Craigbank Primary School Video Litter Initiative
The motion
That the Parliament commends the P2 class at Craigbank Primary School in Sauchie, Alloa on creating their very own superhero in a bid to highlight the dangers of littering; notes that teacher Zoe Lindsay’s P2L class has made a film about the issue with their creation of Rainbow Girl the Animal Rescuer, who became the star of their awareness drive; understands that the class worked closely alongside Tom Bancroft from ABC Creative Music and recorded an original score to enhance the video; understands that the short film came about for a competition by the SSPCA on litter and animals, and congratulates the Clackmannanshire class on their proactive approach to the dangers of litter on wildlife and also for their runner-up prize in the competition.
