Meethill Primary School Success at Doric Film Festival
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Meethill Primary School, which took first place in the Doric Film Festival for its film, Oor Blue Toon; appreciates that the film was based in Peterhead and showed pupils singing about the town in Doric; understands that the film festival, held in Belmont Cinema in Aberdeen, was the first of its kind and was organised by Freida Morrison from Radio Scotland, and wishes the festival further years of success celebrating the Doric language.
