Cancer Research Fundraising for University of Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the University of Aberdeen on raising £4.5 million to expand its world-class cancer research team; notes that this has been made possible following donations from across the north east, including £30,000 raised by the university and NHS Grampian staff who cycled the North Coast 500 and a £1 million donation from the charity, Friends of ANCHOR; hopes that this new investment will enable the expansion of the team's work in diagnosing, preventing and treating cancer, and wishes the team members the very best with their research.
