Wellbeing Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Wellbeing Scotland on being awarded a £45,000 grant from Young Start; understands that the group, which has branches in Alloa and across Mid-Scotland and the Lothians, will use this to build on a previously piloted support programme for 300 young people aged eight and upwards who are experiencing anxiety or depression caused by adverse life circumstances, such as bereavement, parental substance misuse, neglect or bullying; welcomes the news that a wellbeing worker will deliver the project with 10 volunteers over two years, and applauds Wellbeing Scotland on its endeavours.
