Ancient Civilisations and Engineering Workshops in the North East
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the roll-out of science workshops across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire in summer 2019; understands that children between 4 and 12 can take part in 45 minute workshops to learn about ancient civilisations; further understands that they will learn how science and engineering has been applied throughout the ages, including the Egyptian art of mummifying Pharaohs and how the Vikings built their longboats; notes that entry is £1 per child, and encourages all to participate in this fantastic initiative.
