Broughty Ferry Club Brings Home Gold Medal
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Broughty Ferry Boating Club, which took part in the Skiffie Worlds 2019 at Stranraer, where the over-40s women's team picked up the top prize in their category, and the Open Mixed B crew took home a silver medal; understands that the women's team won a gold medal in a boat that they built themselves; acknowledges that the Dundee-based outfit increased their ranking to become the 10th best team in the world; understands that all of the teams had to build their own skiff boat ahead of the competition before taking them to Loch Ryan for the two-kilometre races, and congratulates all involved.
