Dovecot Community Garden
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Peebles Gutterbluids Society on the opening of its new community garden; understands that the Dovecot Community Garden features 70 ornamental trees, which were paid for through a combination of a £1,000 Tesco Bags of Help grant and community donations; notes that the grass between the trees will be allowed to grow long to attract bees and other pollinating insects; understands that wild flowers have already started to grow; thanks all who helped to fund the garden, and wishes the Society all the best for this and its future projects.
