MIRO Coxswain Donald Watson
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Donald Watson on his 14 years as deputy coxswain with the Moray Inshore Rescue Organisation (MIRO); understands that Donald is to step down from his voluntary role, which he has been in since MIRO was established; recognises the vital support that MIRO provides to vessels in distress, with volunteers on 24-hour notice seven days a week, and wishes Donald all the very best In his retirement.
