Fundraising for Shirley's Space
The motion
That the Parliament applauds the friends and family of Shirley McCombie who have, in her memory, raised £40,000 for the Shirley’s Space project; notes that the money will go towards the opening of a mental health drop-in centre in Crimmond aiming to help people with issues such as depression and loneliness; welcomes the plans for the project to expand to include a social media and text messaging service to enable easier access for more people, and wishes everyone involved in the project great success in the years to come.
