Fernielea School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Fernielea School in Aberdeen on being awarded the special recognition badge for cyber resilience and internet safety from Digital Schools Awards Scotland; understands that the awards were established to recognise schools that work towards a whole school approach to digital technology, and that the special recognition badge rewards schools that demonstrate a strategic approach to these topics; notes that the report into Fernielea School’s work acknowledged that they have taken a “comprehensive and rigorous approach in planning their cyber resilience internet safety programme over the last five years”; commends this approach to a vitally important issue, and wishes all the school’s staff and pupils well for the future.
