Aberdeen Hydrogen-fuelled Cargo Bicycle Fleet Announced
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the announcement of a hydrogen carbon bicycle fleet to help reduce congestion and air pollution in Aberdeen City; understands that 10 courier bikes will be trialled by delivery companies to complete the last miles of each delivery; further understands that £500,000 has been awarded to cover the costs of the bikes; notes that the project is the latest in the city’s ambition to become a hydrogen valley in the north east, and looks forward to its continued development.
