Welcome Funding for Home-Start Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the recent funding awards that have been granted to Home-Start Aberdeen; understands that this comprises of £50,000 in Common Good Funding from Aberdeen City Council, £40,000 from the RS Macdonald Trust and £10,000 from the Scottish Children’s Lottery Chance to Flourish fund; notes that the charity supports parents as they learn to cope and improve their confidence, to help prevent family crises and build better lives for their children, and welcomes its positive impact on the community.
