World Pharmacists Day 2019
The motion
That the Parliament notes that 25 September 2019 is World Pharmacists Day; understands that the purpose of the day is to promote and advocate the role of pharmacists in improving health in every corner of the world; recognises that, in Scotland, pharmacists are at the forefront of healthcare, leading the safe and effective use of medicines, and calls on the Scottish Government to make it a priority to enable all pharmacists directly involved in patient care to have full read and write access to the patient health record in the interest of patient safety, service effectiveness and high-quality care.
