Christopher’s Fundraising for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Lodged by Rona Mackay Standard Motion 13 supporters

The motion

That the Parliament commends seven-year-old Christopher Stewart, who is from Lenzie, for raising over £600 for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, which was well over his target of £150; understands that Christopher raised this through his participation in the Big Bucket Trail, which saw him visit hundreds of Oor Wullie statues across 10 towns; acknowledges that he concluded his tour with a 10K sponsored walk, in which he was fifth quickest from thousands of participants; praises his philanthropic efforts, which will make a difference to some of the country’s most vulnerable young people, and sends its best wishes to Christopher.
