Edith Gilmour Retires after 28 Years Volunteering at Garrion People's Housing Co-operative
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Edith Gilmour on her retirement from Garrion People’s Housing Co-operative; notes that Edith, who is from Gowkthrapple in Wishaw, has been a volunteer on the Management Committee for 28 years; further notes that the committee was founded in 1991 as houses were transferred from the local authority to the local co-operative, with Edith being one of the founding members; recognises Edith’s commitment to the people of Gowkthrapple, and wishes Edith a happy and well-deserved retirement.
