Caithness Village Discovery
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes what it considers the most significant archaeological discovery in Caithness since the Victorian era; notes the large complex discovered appears to contain structures from different eras; commends the work of the Orkney Research Centre for Archaeology, working with the Yarrows Heritage Trust, which made this significant discovery, and looks forward to further discoveries coming forward from the site to increase understanding of the history of Scotland.
