Humans of Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) on the publication of Humans of Scotland, a powerful collection of stories from people living with long-term conditions, disabled people and unpaid carers from across the country; considers that the stories included in the book are a testament to the challenges faced by those living in circumstances that affect their health; understands that lived experience is a crucial and necessary currency in shaping public policy, and recognises that ensuring these voices are heard is a key priority for the ALLIANCE alongside funding innovative self-management projects and new approaches in health and social care.
