Oor Wullie Statue Auctions at Dundee
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the auction of 41 Oor Wullie statues at Dundee Rep theatre; understands that the auction is expected to raise funds for the ARCHIE Foundation Tayside, which is helping to build a new children’s operating theatre suite at Ninewells Hospital; notes that 200 Oor Wullie statues were created for the BIG Bucket Trail, and that an estimated 180,000 people visited the trail in Tayside and Fife, and looks forward to a successful auction.
