Funding for River Clyde Homes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates River Clyde Homes on being awarded £90,169 from Cycle Scotland as part of an initiative to provide facilities for walking, cycling and outdoor activities; understands that the funding will be split between Broomhill, John Street, Ladyburn Street and Cartsdyke Apartments in Greenock, as well as Bay Street in Port Glasgow, and will pay for cycle tracks, outdoor gym equipment and benches; believes that this money will help improve health and wellbeing locally, and thanks Clyde Scotland for helping housing associations to promote an active lifestyle.
