Inverurie Environmental Improvement Group
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Inverurie Environmental Improvement (IEI) Group on being awarded a Gold Medal at the Beautiful Scotland Awards; understands that it has provided horticultural assistance to the Beginning Garden Group of young Syrian Scots to help the residents of Urybank Sheltered Housing maintain its gardens; recognises that it will provide support for a local mental health peer to peer group to develop horticultural skills for community projects; notes that the group is also involved in the development of environmental programmes such as the creation of the Ury Riverside Park; commends all those involved with the IEI Group, and wishes them well.
