Fife Women Rock, Young Businesswoman of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Courtney Anderson from Kirkcaldy on winning Young Businesswoman of the Year at the first Fife Women Rock Awards; understands that the award was given for her incredible achievement of being co-owner of a photography business at only 20 years old and for her commitment to helping families coping with loss or terminal illness of a child; notes that her business Kerry Photography offers free photoshoots to families who have a child with a life-limiting or terminal illness; further notes that she is involved in The Rainbow of Hope project to create a mosaic of images taken of brothers or sisters of families who have had an infant loss or miscarriage to raise money for the charity, SANDS, and thanks Courtney for giving back to her community in such a selfless way.
