Fife Women Rock, Queen of Kindness
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Mandy Henderson on winning the Queen of Kindness award at the first Fife Women Rock Awards; understands that the award was given for her 23 years of service to the Linton Lane Centre in Kirkcaldy; notes that she has been influential in providing a range of support at the centre such as foodbank collections, organising groups for teenagers and older people and meeting clothing, furniture and baby equipment needs; further notes that Mandy does everything that she can to help anyone who asks, and thanks her for the incredible difference that she has made to the lives of anyone who has accessed the centre’s services.
