Fife Women Rock, Volunteer of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Amy Gannon on winning the Volunteer of the Year award at the first Fife Women Rock Awards; understands that she was given the award for voluntary service in numerous roles, including chair of the Fife Breastfeeding Café and breastfeeding adviser, offering support via an online group and national helpline, as well as by providing post-natal visits; notes that Amy volunteers in her spare time while raising two children and working as a nurse and clinical educator, and thanks Amy for her selfless devotion to helping new and expecting mothers.
