Law Society Mental Health Survey
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the first sector-wide survey on mental health in Scotland, launched by the Law Society of Scotland earlier in 2019; commends the Law Society’s initiative in surveying attitudes towards mental health and enquiring about the availability and application of mental health policies and training in the workplace; welcomes the survey’s inclusion of all those working in the legal profession, including solicitors, trainees, accredited paralegals, paralegals, legal technicians, all support staff working at law firms and in-house legal teams, and encourages other professional bodies and organisations to do the same.
