Gael Music, Supporting Young People Project in West Dunbartonshire
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Gael Music on being awarded funding to further support its youth-led project of providing cultural and traditional art experiences to communities in West Dunbartonshire; understands that the funds were awarded by Young Start, part of the National Lottery Community Fund, which supports the nation’s young people; welcomes Gael Music’s work in inspiring young people through an integrated programme of shared learning and youth-led performances of folk and traditional music, and wishes it every success in its mission to share traditional arts with local communities.
