JPMorgan Chase Invests in Glasgow
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the announcement by the US financial services company JPMorgan Chase to build a new multi-million pound base for its technology operations in Argyle Street, Glasgow; understands that the 270,000 sq ft building will include sustainability-focused features including energy-efficient lighting, minimised water consumption and more than 350 bicycle spaces, and believes that this development illustrates confidence in both Glasgow and Scotland as a centre of excellence for financial services.
