Royal Scots Museum Marks the 80th Anniversary of the Second World War
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Royal Scots Museum on the release of its film, Scottish Soldiers – World War 2 Memories; welcomes the interview and participation of a number of Lothian-born veterans whose evidence has been instrumental to the film's role in the region's oral history, and considers that the film is vital to maintaining the enduring legacy of those who served, and in cultivating an understanding of the impact that the Second World War had on the Lothian region.
