The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Renfrewshire-based Youth Interventions on receiving a £78,109 grant from The National Lottery Community Fund’s Young Start programme; notes that the charity provides intervention activities for young people in the Renfrewshire area, with a unique focus on behavioural change; understands that this funding will go towards delivering a three-tiered approach to engage young people in improving their mental and emotional wellbeing; recognises that this will also help the group run a drop-in service and evening recreational club for young people, which will operate out of the newly opened YI Hub in Linwood; understands that the project is expected to engage with 2,000 young people over the three-year-funded period; commends all involved on this achievement, and wishes them well as they continue this vital support work.
