Centro Arte Club's Visit to the Wee Scottish Art Club in Clydebank
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Clydebank-based Wee Scottish Art Group (WSAG) on its joint exhibition with Centro Arte Club from Corigliano-Rossano, which is in southern Italy; understands that this follow WSAG's visit to Italy in the spring to take part in the European May Festival 2019; notes that the exhibition will be attended by a party of dignitaries from the Italian municipality and by Italy's Honorary Consulate in Glasgow; thanks the Clydebank artists for their efforts to promote cultural, economic and social links between the town and its friends in Calabria; wishes the visitors from Italy a very enjoyable stay in Scotland; sends its best wishes to both groups for a successful exhibition, and hopes that this will help further develop their relationship.
