East Lothian Success at Beautiful Scotland Awards
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the success of North Berwick in Bloom, Blooming Belters and Dunbar in Bloom at the Beautiful Scotland Awards 2019; notes that North Berwick in Bloom was the overall winner and received the Rosebowl Trophy along with the Coastal Town Trophy, the Community Horticulture Award and a Gold Medal, while Dunbar in Bloom won Gold in the Coastal Town category, and Blooming Belters from Tranent, which was a first-time entrant, received a Silver Gilt Medal; congratulates all of the local volunteers involved in the groups on this stunning success and for the hard work they undertake throughout the year to keep the county’s towns looking at their best, and wishes Blooming Haddington the best of luck at the forthcoming Britain in Bloom awards.
