Community One Stop Shop Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Community One Stop Shop (COSS) on receiving £9,000 from the ENGIE & the City of Edinburgh Council community benefit fund via the OneCity Trust; notes that COSS is in the heart of Broomhouse in Edinburgh, which is an area affected by poverty and deprivation; understands that the funding will be used by COSS for its Advice Plus project; recognises the crucial role that COSS plays in alleviating the effects of poverty in the area and supporting people through times of crisis; acknowledges that it offers advice services, one-to-one employability support, ancillary services and a self-referral food bank; thanks all who work and volunteer for COSS, and wishes them all the best with the Advice Plus project.
