Disability Inclusion Within Snow Sport In Renfrewshire
The motion
That the Parliament commends commends the team at Disability Snowsport UK, based in Braehead, for the work they do with disability sport; congratulates Sean and his team for their commitment to widening access in disability and sport; notes that this is a non-profit organisation based in Glenmore and was set up over 40 years ago; celebrates that their ethos is to allow anyone, regardless of their disability, to experience skiing alongside non-disabled people with the adaptive equipment; notes that it utilises subsidised rates, full equipment and has access to a Changing Places toilet, and commends Disability Snowsport UK's commitment to enabling all people to participate in snowsport, regardless of disability, injury or experience.
