Kibble Education and Care Centre
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Kibble Education and Care Centre, which has received £148,850 from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland; recognises that it offers services and support to at-risk children and young people and is committed to helping them overcome trauma and achieve their full potential; understands that the group will use funding to deliver its two-year programme, Nurturing Lives, which supports young people in care through a range of therapeutic activities, including play and art therapies; notes that the project is based at the group's new Forest View School Campus in Lochwinnoch, which can support up to 40 5- to 12-year-olds; commends all involved with this work, and wishes Kibble every success as it continues to provide life-changing services.
