Asda Foundation's Green Token Giving Programme in Aberdeen

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the PDSA, which it considers to be the UK’s leading vet charity for pets in need, and the Hillside Parent Group, which is a group of committed parents that meets regularly to arrange fund raising and social events for the school community, on each winning £500 in the Asda Aberdeen Green Token Giving programme’s customer vote; further congratulates the runners-up, TLC SCIO, which works to alleviate food poverty through food bank distribution, Cash For Kids, which supports disabled, disadvantaged or abused children, Jubilee Hall, which is a fitness centre for all ages and abilities and the District Young at Heart Group, which arranges social events for citizens aged 50 and older, on each receiving £200; thanks the Asda Foundation for its continued support of communities, which has seen it invest more than £370,000 in community projects and worthy causes in the last year, and hopes that many more organisations will continue to benefit from the awards.
