ASDA Foundation Supports Local Moray Groups
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Duffus Ball Group and Elgin Darby and Joan Club on receiving £399 and £200 respectively from the ASDA Foundation; recognises the positive community impact of the work of the Asda Foundation, which give grants to local good causes, and in 2018 invested more than £370,000 in community projects across Scotland; understands that the Duffus Ball Group will put the money towards the purchase of a moveable storage unit, and that the Elgin Darby and Joan Club will put the funds towards its 70th birthday celebrations in October 2019; commends both groups for their dedication to community engagement, and wishes them all the best for the future.
