George Mawson Recognised for his Years of Service
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates 81-year-old George Mawson on his retirement and acknowledges his hard work as a lollipop man over the last 17 years; notes that the last seven years were spent keeping pupils safe at Wallace Primary School in Elderslie; understands that George devoted much of his retired life to keeping children safe on their way to school; acknowledges his immense contribution to the community, and wishes him well in his retirement.
