Hospital Entertainment Changes
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the plan by NHS Highland to abolish charges for patients to watch television and films at Raigmore Hospital; notes that patients currently have to pay £7.90 per day to access the basic television package and £9.90 to include films; recognises that these charges are imposed under the current contract with service provider, Hospedia, which is due to end in January 2020, and believes that people should not be prohibitively penalised to access entertainment while in hospital.
