Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre Receives Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre in Glasgow on receiving a £99,000 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland; notes that the group will use the funding to run a programme of activities aimed at improving the quality of lives of local people in Dennistoun; understands that activities will be focused on developing skills for employment, tackling poverty, improving health and fitness, inspiring young people, increasing social connections and nurturing interests; acknowledges that, over the next three years, the project will work with 2,600 people and 60 volunteers, and sends its best wishes to all involved.
