Lady J’s, Grangemouth, Initiative of the Year Award Winner
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jill Lauder, and her team at Lady J’s Salon in Grangemouth, on winning the Initiative of the Year category at the Scottish Women’s Awards in Glasgow in recognition of their ongoing commitment to hold monthly pamper sessions, known as Feelgood sessions, for people with cancer; recognises their generosity in giving up their time voluntarily to do this; notes that, earlier in the year, they donated over £2,000 from wages and takings to Strathcarron Hospice; looks forward to learning what future plans the salon has to support good causes, and wishes Jill and the team every success with these efforts and the business.
