Asda Aberdeen Beach Foundation Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kayleigh’s Wee Stars on receiving £500 as a result of winning the customer vote at the Asda Aberdeen Beach store; understands that the award comes as part of Asda’s announcement of 45 community projects, supported by the Asda Foundation, in the north east of Scotland; considers that the runners-up, Fittie Community Development Trust and Red Rox Events & Fundraising, will receive £200 towards their programmes; notes that the Asda Foundation invested more than £370,000 in community projects and good causes in Scotland in 2018, and looks forward to next year’s round.
