Latheron Hall Committee Funding Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Latheron Hall Committee on securing a grant of £18,340 from the Caithness and North Sutherland Fund towards the costs of refurbishing the Latheron community hall car park, which will involve the extension of the existing car park area and resurfacing it with tarmac; notes that the car park is also used by the wider community because of its unique location near the Thurso and Wick main route junction; commends the actions of the committee in seeking to provide a long-term improvement to this popular community facility, making it more accessible and safer for its many users as well increasing its parking capacity, and wishes all involved every success in moving this project forward.
